Conduct and Discipline
At Bishop Anstey Junior School we strive for an orderly, creative learning environment. Appropriate behaviour is expected of students at all times.
Homework
Homework is an integral part of a student’s school experience. Its purpose is to develop responsibility, reinforce skills, expand. knowledge and generally help the student become increasingly independent and involved in the learning process.
School Calendar
Life at Bishop Anstey Junior School is always exciting.

| Green | Georges | Mona K. Georges | 1966 to 1972 |
| Blue | Als | Jennifer Als | 1972 to 1981 |
| Yellow | Prada | Marva Prada | 1981 to 1988 |
Assembly
Student prayer assemblies are held every morning. They are led by the Principal, Members of Staff or individual classes. Spirituality is an important part of our school curriculum. It sets the tone for our daily activities. Therefore, parents are asked to ensure that their children arrive on time so that they can participate in the daily assemblies.
Emergency Procedures
Emergency evacuation drills take place regularly. In the event of fire or other hazards the students are trained to leave the buildings immediately as the alarm is sounded. Students and staff assemble on the playing field (exit to Fondes Amandes Road) or on the parking lot on Ariapita Road. In case of any real emergency the school office will notify the PTA Executive and PTA class representatives who will advise the parents of the children of the various classes.
The media will also be notified.
Nutrition
Parents are encouraged to provide healthy choices for their children. Our School Tuck Shop prepares hot lunches every day.
